Before RTP, I had gone back to working out and wasn’t seeing any weight loss, zero, nada. My energy was low and I felt super depleted all the time.

I’ve always heard that weight loss is 80% what you eat and 20% what you do.....so I quit the gym I was going to and decided to use that money for a health coach instead. I started working with Amy in December 2018 (birthday present to myself). I’ve lost track of how many times Amy listened to me cry because sometimes life is stressful and getting to put myself first often felt like more than I could handle. Thankfully she helped me work through that.

I started with Emma and RTP in June of 2018. At this particular point and time I had battled a year long back injury that left me broken and underweight. I had lost muscle and was sitting at 162 lbs. Although I understood the importance nutrition plays in performance, I never fully committed myself to a nutrition regimen. I reached out to Emma to learn more about what she was doing with athletes and how she could help me get back on track.

My goals were to build the muscle I had lost and learn how to take care of myself through nutrition. The accountability and follow up I received from Emma was what I needed to carry out this plan. I found myself in a never ending battle of trying to eat the amount of food she had prescribed for me. It was full of success, failure and a ton of learning.

After six months of working with Emma I gained 15 lbs of lean muscle mass and haven't experienced any major setbacks with injury. All major lifts have returned to my previous personal bests and I have set numerous NEW personal bests in the process. I was under no strength protocol during this time.
